Legal research: at a law library?

Mar 19, 2012 : : 3:52 PM

Recently, I have been doing quite a bit of legal research.  Going to the law library and reading the books is helpful I believe.  For one thing, it gets you up out of your chair.  Instead of being glued to a computer monitor, you can go grab a casebook or helpful treatise.  When was the last time you looked at a dusty old ALR?  Looking at the books helps organize thoughts and arguments.  The key digest system is fasinating to me.

It's also fun to be around the law students.  They can be heard complaining about how much they have to do.  Mostly, just being around them is nice--it reminds me of how life was then and how interesting it is now.

Fall is definitely here!

The cold weather is starting to set in.  Time to pull out the sweaters!

I hope that you are having a good fall season!
